Life for the next 6 years was bliss. I remember doing hand paintings with my family as we sat outside in our small backyard as the sun set. It was beautiful. My family bought me a red 3DS with Mario on it, and I would play it at night. When one of my parent's came in I tucked my 3DS under the pillow super quickly so they wouldn't catch me. My 3DS had so many games compared to what my sister had, she didn't have many at all. My father worked in a area called Elk Lake, and since he worked there we could get free camping areas and food. I remember nearly drowning because I didn't want to wear my life jacket, because I thought it made me look fat, and I wanted to look like I didn't need it. During sometime in the winter, I met one of my first friends. Sometimes when it would snow, a giant snowtruck would take all the snow that was in the parking lot and put it all in one gianormous pile that people could slide down. I guess this kid knew that I lived here, despite me never knowing he existed. He knocked on the door and I opened it and he said to me, "Want to go play in the snow?" I do not remember exactly what he said, but I'm pretty sure that's what he said. Since I didn't have a sled I used a peice of cardboard that was smushed behind the trash can. One day my brother and I got into a big fight, and he was ANGRY. Me and my brother assaulted eachother by clenching our fists and swinging down. I remember he I ran away towards my parents downstairs when he was angry, and as I was running I looked back and saw a red faced kid with the angriest face I've ever seen in my life. Kinda funny. Once my brother stabbed me with a fork and I totally overreacted. There was no bleeding or bruises, but it hurt a lot, and I thought my brother was finally trying to kill me, so I was screeching for help. Me and my brother were playing in the backyard when we built a fort with a outdoor foldable plastic table thing. We used the table as the roof then used other furniture and objects such as cardboard boxes, and more tables for the walls. My brother was holding a glass of water, and I was eating a apple, and I thought it would be a funny idea to act like I accidentally dropped my apple into his water. I made it look like it slipped into the water cup, and he was laughing his ass off. When I first came to elementary, I remember running down this long hallway, when around the corner came this black haired girl, and I ran into her. Thankfully she was alright, but she wasn't to happy, and said, "Watch where you're going!" We were once waiting in line for something I don't remember, but I think I cut the line that we were waiting in. There was this little girl who was half my height who was bickering at me for cutting, and I remember saying, "Shut up, pipsqueak." I got the word pipsqueak from the show Avatar. I didn't really know what pipqueak meant, but it sounded like something small that just wouldn't stop talking, so I thought it would be the perfect insult for someone like that. Later, she told an adult and I had to write a paper that said I'm sorry. I wrote it, but I wasn't really sorry. There's a lot of great memories I'd like to document, but I can't really remember all of them, or I just don't want to mention it.
This is kind of where everything goes downhill. This is also when I started my old youtube channel (which I will NOT be showing).
Everything went downhill around 2019, during the pandemic. I had to go on our family computer to go on video calls, or I could go on my tablet. I remember that during calls I wouldn't do a single thing that was productive, so for 1 whole year, I didn't do shit. I actually recorded a video while in the middle of a zoom call, and you can actually hear one of the students go, "Yeah!" It's kinda funny? Through observing conversations between my parents, they were struggling with bills. I remember when they would fight in front of me, I would run upstairs to my bedroom and cover my ears with a pillow, while my siblings just stood around doing nothing. There was always something kinda weird with my siblings, they didn't really seem to care about anything that happened around them, almost as if nothing happened. You'll see more of that if you continue reading farther in. When I was in a call in Zoom, my parents would argue in the background. When I started talking, they would just suddenly stop arguing behind me, but resumed after I muted. One day, something really bad happened. I remember hearing my mother screaming, I ran to the stairs to see what was going on, and my mother was yelling at me to get upstairs. I was hiding upstairs in my bedroom when everything just randomly stopped, and after the noise stopped I went downstairs to my mother crying on the couch. That day, he never came back. Shortly after, he was released from prison but since my mother had signed a restraining order against my father, he had to live in a tent where he worked at Elk Lake. My mother told me a bunch of stuff that I later found out was a lie. She was trying to make me as terrified of my father as possible so I wouldn't ever see him again. Couple weeks after my father was kicked out, siblings were calling my father. Another example of my siblings being ignorant. Tossing all reason out of the window just so you can see your dad again. Couple days later, I remember my mother had told me she had met someone on facebook that she really liked. They met at a park, and the guy she was visiting was appearentally kind of shy. One day he came to our house to visit the place. This girl named Lilly kept trying to enter my room even though I was trying to clean it. She was holding a small plastic doll of what seems to be a character from Moana. My brain just has a mental screenshot of the first time I've ever seen her, so I can remember seeing her face for the first time as if it happened yesterday. I remember I was sitting on the stairs right behind the couch when I peeked down towards him. I knew instantly that this man was going to ruin my life forever. It was like Zelda seeing Ganondolf while she sits in the courtyard. We had to move out couple months later because my mother couldn't afford rent anymore since she didn't work. She couldn't work because she had slipped when working at a icecream shop and broke her shoulder. The night we were moving out, Anthony brought a couple trailers to carry our furniture to his place, and on the last trip it took a very long time for her to come back. Since I was so young, I kind of assumed that she had died in a car accident due to Anthony's poor driving skills (he has been driving vehicles since he was 10 years old, so he was an expert at driving). The house I was stuck in had no electricity because she didn't pay her bill in time because she was moving out. None of the furniture or electronics were there, so there was no way to contact her. I remember running out to this patch of grass that was out front the house and I was on my knees crying. I considered knocking on other doors to call the police and see if my mother was dead. As soon as I considered that, my mother pulled up to the driveway. After my father was kicked out this was the around the time that my hair started to grow out a bit. Since I didn't tend to my hair, it started to create small dreadlocks in my hair. I would hide my ruined hair under my thick jacket, which only further ruined it. Around the time that I came to Alfalfa is when I started visiting my father again. My siblings were begging me to see my father before I finally got to see him. The first day I met him after a year or two, he said we could do anything we want. We went to this awesome place called Black Bear Diner, they had some super good french toast. After, we went to this trampoline park, and we had a very good time. After that, I started visiting him more and more when it became a regular routine, but when my mother noticed I was going out a lot, she made up random excuses not to take me. She probably knew that I was beginning to learn the truth of what had actually happened. A lot of the things my mother had told me about my father was actually untrue, which I can't share.
What you're looking at is a recreation of basically the whole property. A while ago I tried to make a Garry's Mod map that recreated my house, but there was so much to add, so I just gave up. Farther up from the property was a long dirt road that lead to a post that seperated other properties that existed there. We had a few cool places to put a fort kind of thing or camping spot. I didn't really think I should've added that since not a lot happened there. When we got to Anthony's place, when I entered, everything was disgusting. When you entered the house, on your left was supposed to be the living room, but a giant peice of fabric with an tie die looking pattern covered part of the enterance to the living room. It was small, there was trash on the floor, a huge dresser that sat next to the giant tv mounted on the wall. Weirdest thing about this whole thing is that there was a huge motorcycle with a tarp covering it. Across from the enterance was a small kitchen. There was a mountain of dishes in the sink across the kitchen. Above the stove that sat on the right side of the kitchen was even more dishes piled up on it, but with a empty box of Little Caesars on it. Yum. Since there was literally no space for any food, infront of the microwave was a small space where you could open and close the microwave door, so you could cook food in the microwave. I bet they probably cooked most of their food from the microwave, since the oven didn't work (I think). On the left side of the kitchen was a door to the restroom and a fridge. When you entered the bathroom there was a washing machine and dryer with tubes leading from the back of the washer and dryer leading to the roof. Across the bathroom was a toilet, and it almost never worked most of the time. As most bathrooms do, it required water to function, and we didn't have water most of the time. On the left side of the bathroom was a bathtub and a sink with a mirror. Right of the enterance to the house lead to a large pool room. On the sides of the pool table was lots of toolbox's and other utility kind of containers. There was also lots of trash bags piling up around the pool table. In the far corner buried in the trash and containers was a fish tank, with a fish still LIVING in it. Lilly had to climb up over the trash just to feed the fish. In a few corners of the room where there wasn't trash, there was 2 bedrooms. One was a smoke room, but was transformed into a small bedroom after Anthony had a child. Then Anthony's bedroom. We barely ever got to see the bedroom, but I remember that there was bongs and bullets on his night stand and other tiny objects. In the corner across the bed that he lay in was a wardrobe. Next to the wardrobe was a cubby bin shelf thing with a safe in one of the shelfs. My mother told me that there was money and a firearm in there incase somebody wanted to rub us, which was weird because he had plenty of rifles, weapons and ammo just sitting in his closet. In his closet was only jackets, I never seen him wear any other pants except these black saggy dirty jeans.
Now, outside of the house was a large fenced area. When we arrived there, there was a lot of trash and scrap that was caught by the fence when drifting in the wind. Next to the house that was in the fenced area was a dog house. It wasn't your ordinary dog house that could fit a dog, but it could actually fit 6 humans (tested). The enterance was big enough for a human to enter, but we barely ever used that area to hang out because there was bugs and spiders in there. Occasionally when we did hang out, I remembered we played this weird RPG card game that me and my brother played. Our player would be represented as a random card, and we used different cards as armor and weapons and potions. I remember me and my brother were tired of slow progression so we just gave my guy the best armor and weapons and added 3 other guys on my side with good gear aswell and we fought a dragon. Since me and my brother grew up with Diablo, me and my brother kind of tried to roleplay as Diablo characters and monsters. I got a tan sheet and cut it with scissors to make a sutcoat, I got a belt and tied it around my waist and became a knight. Before this, Anthony made me and my brother a big wooden sword that I actually designed myself. He let me pick out a plank to carve into a sword, and then draw the shape of it. One of the many old peices of furniture was a wooden painted stool. I used a hammer to pry of the legs of the stool to get the seat part of the stool, and nailed a few peices of wood to make a handle for the shield. I had then completed my knight gear set! I had also found this weird mesh tarp kind of thing, and I used it as another surcoat that goes over my tan surcoat, and it turned me into what I thought looked like the dark knight from Monty Python: The Holy Grail. Once, this kid who was a brother of Anthony's friend Dusty. He might've been my age or maybe a little younger, but I remember that he had short black hair. When he came over, it was hella windy, sand and dust was just flying everywhere. We thought it'd be fun to go on top of the dog house when it was windy to act like a few pirates sailing through the sea, but it got so bad that we had to go inside the dog house to protect ourselves from the elements. We could hear twigs and rocks flying smashing onto the outside walls of the doghouse. It felt like we were in a active battlefield, and it was caos. My sister slept a few times inside the dog house, if I remember correctly. Next to the houses was basically 2 bedrooms combined into one house. Since there was garbage and furniture stacked up against both enterances to the bedrooms, we never got to peek into it until a few years later when my mother FINALLY decided it was probably a good idea to get a bedroom rather then just sleeping on the floor. It was almost like a time capsule that was opened when we went in there. There was old paper and notes that were meant to be sent to other people. There was a carton of soda from a brand I didn't recognize, but I snuck one out of the plasic ring things and I snuck behind the houses and drank one. It tasted like just regular ol' Sprite. In the workshop that was next to the abandoned houses was huge. It was kind of shaped like those military barracks sorta thing. There was a lot of cabinets and shelves on the walls containing metal trinkets and engine parts. In the middle of the workshop there was a abundance of power tools just sitting on the floor. There was saws, drills, other weird contraptions I've never seen. Behind the workshop was a big RV. We've never seen it until the last few years of living there because the amount of trash and furniture was insane. On the very top left of the image of the property was a big trailer that was meant for trash. We would throw trash bags into it and we'd pay to get our trash removed. There was a giant heap of moldy trash with maggots crawling out of it. It also smelled putrid, obviously. One day after coming home from school, I walked in from the gravel road enterance and saw Anthony throwing one of my toy nerf guns into the trash trailer. I don't remember what he said, but he was angry at me for leaving my toys out. Not sure what led it to happen, but eventually we had our electronics taken away until we got rid of all the trash that surrounded the trailer. Everyday during summer break, we wouldn't be allowed to go on electronics until we cleared out the trailer. Neither my mother nor Anthony helped with a single bit of it. Lilly refused to do it because she complained that she was in pain and sore. Despite all of this, I actually sometimes enjoyed it. Anthony let me listen to some music while I was cleaning the trailer, and my siblings and I would just talk about stuff. Once, years after we moved in and got comfortable, I was sitting on my computer, actually playing on Roblox. I think if I remember correctly, it was Retrostudio, and in Retrostudio, I was playing a game where you build to survive from these different kind of zombie types. Irrelevant though. I was sitting when I noticed that Anthony and my mother were fighting. By this time I was kind of used to it and I would just either leave or blast some music in my headphones, but while playing I noticed that they got angrier and angrier. I messaged in the chat, "hold on, I think my mother is getting murdered." I didn't really mean it, but what would come after was horrific. I heard a gunshot, a really loud gunshot. My mother screamed, and in fear and anger, I screamed Anthonys name. My mother came running out of the room, getting everyone out of the house. I don't remember what we did after that, but I do remember that my mother told me that he tried to kill himself by using his pistol, but my mother pushed the gun out of his face before he could pull the trigger. One day, Anthony and my mother had an arguement, as usual. Instead of them just getting back together and apologizing, my mother was actually kicked out. Before she left, she told me that we were going to go to a shelter to get away from Anthony. I was a little scared, because when I heard "shelter" I thought we were going to be living in tents because she said the walk there was 5 minutes away. There was no shelters or anything near us, so I was just a little confused until I realised that she meant it would just take a few minutes to walk from the house to the gate where we were being picked up. I remember the anxiety leaving my body when I saw we were entering Bend. We were dropped off by the uber, and we went into this office building, where they took me and my siblings to the back of an area. This backroom had a few comfy seats with child toys that lay around the room. Between two of the seats that were in the room was a end table with a lamp and a box of small fidgets. Me and my siblings sat in the room for what felt like 30-ish minutes, waiting for our mother to come back and retrieve us. When she and a few workers came out, they led us to this large sliding door van. The car drove for about 10 minutes and we drove up to what seemed like a really big house. I was confused on why we went to this random house, maybe we got our own house assigned to us as a shelter? When you entered these 2 large double doors, you entered a huge living room. The living room had a kitchen that had big windows that had light shinging through, illuminating the whole room. The living room had one wall with lots of childrens books and movies, and on the other side of the living room was a old tv with a DVD player on one of the shelves on the TV stand. In the living room, two enterances lead to one big hallway that showed lots of doors. They showed us the very end of the room. The room was divided into 2 rooms, basically. Both sides look identical, but there was a small wall that seperated these two rooms. Each room had a bunkbed with a desk that sat across from it, and on the wall was a closet where you could store anything. The best thing about this room was that when the sun rose in the morning, the sun would shine in through the blinds onto the green painted walls and illuminate with this bright grass green color. Couple days after we entered, other families started entering the shelter with us.
